How do I add a new phone number to Marchex?

  1. Navigate to: https://marchex.io/login
  2. Login with your credentials
  3. Click Client List
  4. Click The Irvine Company LLC
  5. Click Account Settings
  6. Click Order Numbers
  7. Choose either ‘Order Toll Free Numbers” or “Order Local Numbers” (dependent on what you want)
  8. Select how many numbers you want under Quantity and choose Next.
  9. Choose ‘Activate Clean Numbers Now‘ with the prefix you prefer.
  10. Click Provision.
  11. Click ‘Back to My Clients‘.
  12. Choose either Irvine Pacific or Villages of Irvine. (depending on what the number is for)
  13. Click Ad Campaigns
  14. Click New Ad
  15. Choose the group (usually by village)
  16. Add a title and description for the campaign.
  17. Choose the number prefix dropdown and select the inbound number you would like.
  18. Click Forward To
  19. Add the forwarding number. Click Add. (If there are two forwarding numbers, add both. For example: Forward to neighborhood during business hours and forward to HFC outside of business hours.)
  20. To record calls:
    Click General
    Select Business Hours Playfile: Blank_Playfile New (via The Irvine Company LLC)
    Select After Hours Playfile: Blank_Playfile New (via The Irvine Company LLC)
    Select Record Call > Yes
  21. Click SAVE.
  22. Important! Test the number inside and outside business hours.
